Q:  When will you ship my order?

A:  We are as excited to ship your order as you are to receive it!  Most orders will be shipped within 1-2 business days.  We offer first class and priority mail shipping via USPS and ground shipping via UPS.

US Orders over $99 qualify for free shipping.  These orders will be shipped either priority USPS or UPS ground, depending on where you live.  In general, either service will deliver your package in 3-4 business days.

While we try to ship right away, please note that due to covid-19 and high volume, all carriers are experiencing delays.  We appreciate your patience while you wait for your happy mail.

Also, shipping cost differences over $1.00 will be automatically refunded.  

 

Q:  Do you offer international shipping?

A: We offer USPS shipping to Canada and Australia only.  Please see our shipping policy for all details regarding custom fees and duties.  Midlife Quilter is not responsible for any brokerage fees or customs/duties your package may incur and those may be charged COD by the carrier.

Q:  Do you allow returns or exchanges?

A:  We do not allow returns or exchanges unless there is a mistake with your order.  However, if there is an error, please contact us immediately so we can make it right.

 Q:  How do I enroll in the rewards program?

A:  To enroll in the rewards program and earn points, simply enter your email during checkout with every purchase.  Our rewards program is managed by Rise.ai and is structured as follows:

Earn a $5 store credit for every $50 spent in our shop.

You do not need to spend $50 at once. Every purchase you make counts.

When you reach $50, an email with a unique code will be sent from Rise.ai.

Store credits expire after 6 months.  

Please note that we reserve the right to terminate this program at any time.  

Q: What do you mean by a “boutique style” fabric shop?

A: I decided to use the term “boutique” because I wanted to let customers know that the bundles and items I sell are unique and not sold in extremely large quantities.  While I will always do my best to restock popular items, I want to offer a selection of fresh, new favorites to build and diversify your quilting stash.

Q:  What can I expect when I shop with you?

I am completely aware that you have your choice of fabric shops and think it is a privilege when you choose to buy from mine.  
When you buy from me, know that you can expect:

1)  beautiful and expertly curated fabrics, hand cut to order by me

2)  Pretty, gift-like packaging for a truly special “happy mail” day

3)  Top notch, personalized service.  My customer service rule is simple.  Be fair and treat all my customers the way I expect to be treated.  I will always do my best to resolve any issue in a timely and professional manner.

Q:  An item I wanted is out of stock. Will you restock and how can I get on the wait list?

A:  We try to restock when possible and when there is sufficient demand, but, unfortunately, we cannot restock every item.

A new feature on our site as of February 2021 is an “email me when available” button on sold out listings.  

If an item you want is out of stock, please use this feature to let us know you would like to be notified of a restock.

We cannot guarantee every item will be restocked since sometimes we cannot get more of some fabrics, but this is the best way to ensure that:

1) we know there is interest in the item

2) you are notified the moment it is back in stock

Once an item is no longer visible on the website at all, it means the item will not be restocked.  However, we are continually adding new items we think you will love. 

Q:  Do you offer pre-orders?

A:  I generally will only do pre-orders once I have a fairly firm ship date.  Due to continued shipping delays and the inevitable bumps in the road, I prefer to hold off on pre-orders until closer to the collection release dates.  

Since pre-orders cannot be cancelled, I want to try to give you the best info before you make the purchase. 

However, all pre-order ship dates are subject to change—so please keep that in mind when doing a pre-order. Pre-order listings will always be updated with the most up to date shipping info.

Please note that your method of payment will be charged at the time of purchase—not when the item ships. If you are ordering multiple items along with a pre-order, we recommend separate orders as the entire order will be held until everything can ship together.
